The spacious accommodations have been designed to be functional both at sea and in port. Owners have praised this model’s below-deck plan as being excellent for both living aboard and for offshore sailing.
Her sleeping quarters are true staterooms, expansive and private. Instead of a cramped V-berth, there's a full forward stateroom with storage space, generous offset berth and great ventilation. Across from the berth to starboard are additional drawers and a hanging locker. The roomy, ensuite head features its own separate shower that's enclosed by a plexiglass door and upgraded Corian countertops. Together, the forward cabin and head offer luxurious livability for extended cruising.
The same comfort and convenience found in the forward stateroom are also provided in the aft stateroom with a double berth, large hanging lockers and private access to the aft head.
The main salon is well-illuminated and richly furnished in teak. It is light, airy and comfortable for dining and entertaining. For additional family and guests, the L-shaped settee to port is convertible into a double berth with storage underneath and behind. There is a second settee/single berth to starboard, also with storage behind and underneath. For serious offshore cruising during foul weather, these amidship settees/berths with lee cloths can be utilized as safe and comfortable sea berths.
The aft head is conveniently located to starboard of the companionway with access from either the main salon or the aft cabin.
The large, L-shaped galley is an efficient space that any chef would appreciate. There is plenty of storage behind and under the stove and behind the fridge. With the galley so close to the companionway, ventilation is good and it is easy to pass snacks up to the watch in the cockpit.
The nav station is tucked behind the galley away from the flow of traffic, yet its location offers quick and easy access to the cockpit and helmsperson.
Large L-shaped galley with abundant counter space and storage.
Caliber's trademark* hull design incorporates a Multi-Bulkhead Bonding System*, an Integral Strength-Grid System* for strength and safety and integral baffled tanks which act as double bottoms while adding tremendous rigidity to the hull structure, with additional strength from the integral sub-sole. Additionally, there is a Water-Tight Collision Pocket*.
