Little Jeannie is a versatile vessel well suited for a hard core fishing adventures, cruising from port to port, or as a great camping platform. Step down below from the helm area and you will find a small, but fully equipped kitchen area complete with sink, microwave and Norcold fridge. To the starboard she has a large bathroom with a Vacuflush toilet and hot and cold running water for the sink or shower. As far as berths, she has a large settee in the v-berth that makes into a bunk and also a hidden trunk cabin under the main helm that will sleep a couple. This forward area also has surround sound stereo system, heat, AC and plenty of storage space.
On Deck
The back deck of this 28 footer is very well thought out. Working from aft, she is armed with plenty of rod holders, a large swim step with a walk through transom door and storage compartments everywhere you look. There are 2 large fish boxes on the deck as well as 2 extra boxes with drains built into the transom. These could be used as coolers, fish boxes, or just general storage. She also has 2 seating areas just aft of the helm that both have pop up lids that hide another couple fish boxes and a clever sink design. As if that wasn't enough storage space, she also has a large fish box on the floor between the captain's station and first mate chair. Moving forward there is plenty of space to walk around the side of the cabin and access the storage compartment that houses the windlass and anchor locker.
Engine and Mechanical
Little Jeannie is rigged out with a pair of Yamaha 225 H.P. outboard motors that currently only have 466 hours. Most people would agree that they are barely broken in! These power houses will push her along at a cruising speed of around 25 knots while getting around 1.5 nautical miles per gallon. She is fitted with outriggers mounted on the roof of the cabin, new canvas and a very nice aluminum i-beam triple axle trailer.
Electrical and Electronics
This offshore vessel is loaded with up to date electronics that are well suited for the angler. She has brand new twin Simrad touch screens with thru hull B175HW transducer that include structure and side scan capabilities. She also has a pair of Standard Horizon VHF's, halo open array 4' radar with bird mode and a Clarion disc player Serious satellite radio.
