Open 30 A unique super-fast racer, with unique tilting keel The "Open 30" is a special ship, very interesting for sailors who love pure speed. The boat is built in Argentina, designed to "fly" over the Argentine sea. Large forces are placed on such a race monster. The best materials are then necessary and therefore also used. In addition, the boat is maximally optimized to get everything out of it. For example, the boat is equipped with a tilt-keel system that is unique. This is made entirely electric and can be operated from the cockpit. A system has been devised to ensure that the keel also stands with 1 pressure in the middle position (both sides to operate) by means of an electric winch and a simple, strong keelbox, which keeps the boat watertight. For the mast, all equipment / blocks / lines and the sails the best materials are used. The 2 rudders have been renewed. These have been lengthened and made lighter in order to get the most out of the boat in combination with the large sail area and the tilting keel. The boat is equipped with the best equipment, the heaviest version of Raymarine 8000 remote control, an i-desk waterproof VHF radio with an ac-disk, an electric card and a Simrad radar.

General: Type: Open 30, name Tsunami, built in 2003, dimensions 9,14 x 4,04 x2,30 m, hull material polyester, imported from Argentina, unique in Europe, designer: Owen Clarke Design, unique electrically operated tilting keel, weight 500 kg, tiller, aluminum anchor, no sleeping accommodation, a real day sailor, but with the option to take on bigger adventures. Due to the high rating, an IRC rating has been chosen. Access to the measurement certificate is possible in consultation
Motor: 2 electro engines Torqeedo 2 x cruise, giving the boat a speed of about 4 knots for 4 to 5 hours.
Rigging: An almost new mainsail of 3 years old, where 1 season has been sailed with. Very light and equipped with ov-avert material in combination with carbon fibers. This makes the sail extra light and stiff at the same time, good for the sailing balance in the boat and for the rating, made by Ullman of the material Fiberpath membrame, Carbon / Twaron Black strings, film to film. A spare mainsail of 7 years old, which sailed 4 seasons. Furthermore, the boat is equipped with a High Aspect Jib, 24 m2 in Membrane Black Technora with Internal Taffeta, a similar material, brand Van Vliet and 1 season older than the mainsail, also in excellent condition. Furthermore: a gennaker also Van Vliet, also in excellent condition, extremely suitable for downwind raking. Because of the extra wide shoulders the gennaker can be sailed deep, but at the same time it can also be sharper to get the maximum out of the boat. It is a medium thick sail, suitable for light weather but can also have a lot of wind. The gennaker is the engine of the boat and is extra large made and is therefore equipped with a ca 2 m long carbon-extendable tree with iron core. If it gets too sharp for the gennaker, you can switch to one of the two code zero's. A choice can be made between code zero for light weather, spinnaker cloth material. As soon as the wind increases, a second version can be chosen, which is equipped with a thin version high tec taffeta / carbon material (dynema lines, shots / boom line (under the boom) / traps). Very light and as strong as possible material. These sails are in good condition. In addition, a jib in reserve. Finally: a storm jib from North Sails for the longer downwind or if you really would be in severe weather. The entire sail plan is equipped with carbon mast, boom and pbo rigging (http://www.tunedrigs.com/verstaging/pbo-rigging.html) for an optimal ratio of weight and stiffness. All blocks on board are provided with best blocks from Harken and Ronstan.
Navigation and equipment: 2 new 130 Ah batteries. The instruments consist of the best systems such as: the plotter of Simrad, the heaviest version of Raymarine for the autopilot (very accurate) and B & G screens as meters (version that is widely used for solo sailors). There is also a remote control for the autopilot. There is also a radar (electric) on the standard rear with further antennas. In addition: very good and waterproof ICOM IC -M411 VHF. Electric winch for the turntable.
Gas and water: none
Safety: Because of the large volume, the boat is very stable and with a lot of wind, like any other boat in the worst case on its side.
