Nicely done pocket trawler that has clearly been owned and maintained by knowledgable people in the past. The Rosborough build quality is second to none, and this is an impressive boat that does not leave you shaking your head wondering why they did something a certain way. Every system is easily accessible and serviced.
I purchased it in late April 2020. I like boat projects and I've gotten it where I want it and did my cruising, so I've gotten bored. I love the boat, I'm not desperate to sell it, and will continue to happily use and upgrade.
Some features and recent updates include:
Head arrangement is a porta-potti base with manual hand crank to holding tank. From holding tank you can pump out on deck or overboard via valve system.
Coleman Mach 8 13.5 rooftop unit with heating and air.
No hot water heater, no shower. Galley sink has a separate faucet for purified water.
Solar panel keeps batteries charged. Refrigerator can be run on AC or DC power.
Name on teak transom wrap can be removed separately. Small nicks on either transom corners can be repaired with supplied patch kits.
Vinyl teak flooring is fully removable for access to hatches in floor. It is simply cut to fit and laid in place.
Original full size table is still in the boat for converting the dinette to a berth. Dinette berth is approx 7' long.
No closet in forward V-berth. Only hangers on the wall. An impressive amount of storage space is scattered throughout the boat.
Cruises at about 16/17 knots at 4100 RPM. Est fuel 1.75nm/gal.
Full price offer will also include a 3000kw Craftsman generator purchased in June 2020.
Paddleboard and owner's personal effects (mine) not included.
Bottom is painted and is usable as is. I may get it redone in a year or two but there is no reason to yet.
Trailer is a 2002 Shor'lander tandem axle with rollers. I'm not at all certain about its condition as we trailered it empty home after purchase (boat and trailer travelled separately), but it is included as-is. The boat lives in a covered dry storage facility.
No stereo installed on the boat. Samson post on the bow - no windlass. No autopilot. Two burner stove with propane tank is on the boat but has not been tested since I've owned it. This is an HSV model. Engine warranty not known, but I doubt it still has any.
Claw anchor with safety pin and safety line attached, followed by approx 50 ft of chain and an unknown but marked amount of rode. Why unknown? Because I haven't been anywhere yet that 50 ft of chain hasn't sufficed beyond wearing me out letting down and taking up.
Photo of hull 1 week prior to wrap installation included. Photo of trailer as she sits now included.
