Accommodations
This model Jeanneau was constructed when the interiors were made of real teak. The dark, rich look that comes with the teak finish makes this model look more expensive than it is.
The layout and access in this popular Jeanneau model is a standard 3 cabin/2 head version with the master forward (with ensuite head/shower) and twin berths aft. The galley is to starboard of the companionway. The aft head is to port and works as a very accessible day head while underway.
The salon has the large dinette with seating for 8 to starboard and a comfortable settee and nav station to port.
There is a portable 12K BTU A/C unit available for comfort and a 33" Haier TV for entertainment.
Galley
The large L-shaped galley is equipped with very high quality galley ware. There is a large 2 burner LPG stove/oven. Huge Frigaboat refrigerator and Isotherm freezer compartments with separate compressors. Large double, stainless steel sink with hot/cold water supply. Lots of storage and pantry cubbies around.
Engine/Mechanical
Auxiliary power is provided by a durable Yanmar 4JH-TE, 75 hp turbocharged diesel. Current hours are about 3000. Propulsion comes from a Max Prop feathering prop. Access is under the companionway stairs with access on the other 3 sides via removable panels.
A complimentary Side Power Bow Thruster is forward.
A Desallator 60L/hr (16 g/h) water maker was installed in 2009. Operating on the 220V genset, the water maker is available any time needed.
Electrical
Electrical power is a major feature on Bula with a 4 KW Paguro diesel genset (new in 2009), Aerogen Wind generator (new in 2009), 40W of solar power (new in 2012), and a new 2KW inverter installed last year. Besides the engine alternator, there is also a Mastervolt Chargemaster to keep the batteries charged and monitored.
The battery bank is made of 4 x 105AH AGM's and with a 5th separate battery dedicated to the bow thruster.
