This stunning 49' Grand Banks Eastbay has a two cabin, two head, down galley layout with a fully air-conditioned, enclosed helm deck and roomy cockpit. The cabin sole is varnished teak and holly. The entire interior is naturally ventilated with generous opening stainless ports, overhead hatches, and reverse cycle air conditioning and heat.
Starting forward is the Master Stateroom featuring an Island Double with full-sized chart drawer under and two closing stowage drawers. An overhead hatch and opening ports provide excellent light and ventilation when desired. There is abundant storage in a hanging locker and built-in drawers to port and starboard.
Master Stateroom Head
The Master Stateroom Head is aft to port and features a separate stall shower and generous storage drawers. Vacuflush head, Corian Canity top and sink with an overhead hatch and opening port for excellent natural light and cross ventilation.
Midship to port is the Guest Stateroom featuring twin berths. There are several large drawers for storage below the berths and a large hanging locker.
Guest Stateroom Head
Opposite the Guest Stateroom is the Guest Head featuring Vacuflush head, corian vanity and sink and an ensuite shower and plenty of storage in three lockers and one drawer.
A large U-shaped Galley is aft to port with abundant counter space and storage. The sink is recessed Stainless Steel and the refrigeration system consists of two Grunnert Holding Plate refrigerators with top loading freezer.
Across from the Galley is the main/dining salon with a U-shaped settee in indigo blue Ultrasuede fabric with significant storage beneath and a hi/low table in teak. There is a Sharp color LCD monitor is built into for easy TV viewing throughout the salon.
Hull and Deck
Aft and up four steps from the galley/salon is the helm area with additional seats, one at the wheel and one opposite at port. Also located in the helm area is a L-shaped lounge area with storage under the bench seating and an attractive teak table. The decor seating fabric is Ultraleather and holds custom-made throw pillows. Opposite is an ice maker built in beneath the port side helm bench. All the way aft is the teak cockpit deck with luxurious Sunbrella cushions. The generously-sized cockpit area is great for fishing and water sports. Access to the engine room from the cockpit is gained by lifting a hydraulic hatch, which then allows one to step down into the room, or through helm deck floor hatch.
