This is a very clean and well presented example of a Cruisers Yachts 2870. She is unique in that she has a single diesel engine. She is ideal for cruising up and down the Thames and has a valid boat safety certificate until 28th November 2022. She was anti-fouled and had her engine and outdrive serviced in May 2018.
Starting at the bow of the boat there is an offset large double berth with storage underneath. Above the berth is an escape hatch/skylight. On the starboard side of the berth is a large hanging locker, above which is located a large flat area for where a TV can be situated.
Moving aft along the starboard side brings you to the galley. Here there is a stainless steal sink with pressurised hot and cold water, a single electric hob, refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of storage capacity for galley accessories.
Further aft on the starboard side brings you to the heads. These consist of an electric sea toilet with holding tank, a sink with hot and cold pressurised water, a pull out shower head with all-around shower curtain and drainage in the floor and storage cupboards.
Opposite the heads is the dinette, which can seat up to three, possibly four people
Moving further aft there is a secondary double berth with privacy pull-around curtain and reading lights.
Access to the cockpit area is gained via three stairs, making access easy for thosse of you with a dog!
Moving aft. In the cockpit/helm area there is a bench/helm seat. At the helm you find full engine instrumentation, and navigational aids. Moving further aft in the cockpit area there are two bench seats with detachable tables in the middle for entertaining family and friends.
Access to the engine is gained via a hatch under this. Access to the bathing platform is gain through a hinged door. There is a stainless steal fold out ladder, stainless steel handrails for safety, and snap davits for a tender. The cockpit/helm is protected by a full detachable canopy cover which also gives you the option of taking the forward and side sections out, to have a bimini effect, To save time, these sections can be rolled up and clipped in place.
There is also a collapsible radar arch for passing under low bridges.
