Manufacturer Provided Description
With the Ferretti 55, Ferretti offers its solution to fine onboard living. Just walking into the huge saloon makes you realize that our attention to detail has helped create an environment which is a refined mixture of style, elegance, and comfort. The diffused illumination from the wall lights plays fascinating games with reflections from polished briar and mahogany, woods highlighting furniture of impeccable design and practicality. Sophisticated details, such as fan-shaped stairs connecting the flybridge and the galley, testify to Ferretti designers' continuous search for increasingly refined and exclusive design solutions. The crew cabin (with toilet) has direct access from the galley and can serve as an extra guest cabin or an exceptionally large storeroom. Down below there is the forward master cabin and two guest cabins, one of which features a French bed. Also, the Ferretti 55 has excellent soundproofing, both from the main engines with their underwater exhausts and from the generator, which is whisper quiet. The mooring hardware and other service facilities are hidden away in the cockpit to leave a clean, sophisticated area for informal dining or drinks. The bathing platform is large enough to stow a jet ski and the tender while still leaving room for its main function. The Ferretti 55 is intended to replace the Ferretti 52, a boat that has been successfully produced for many years, and it is the result of a long period of design and development which combined the talents of Ferretti Engineering and Zuccon International Project.
