Leif Beiley coined the phrase "Sport Utility Vessel"(TM) for his Bravura 29 Sporster and he was right on. The Bravura Sportster 29 has the performance of a true sport boat, she is user friendly and has a very comfortable cockpit and a nice interior layout. The Bravura 29 Sportster is an ultra-light sport boat designed with a large sail plan & a deep bulb keel. She is very easy to sail short-handed due to her small jib / large main combination. She sleeps four people total, Aft she has two quarter berths that are incredibly large and her main cabin is set up with two single berths. The Boat has a custom Trail Rite Dual Axle Trailer allowing you to move the boat to regattas outside your normal racing venues.

Showing Instructions Please note that all of our vessels are shown by prior appointment ONLY! We ask that that you give us at least 24 hours notice (even more if possible) by email or phone before you wish to see one of our boats. That way we can be sure and block out some time for you to see the boat! We do not want to arrive to an empty office because we are out showing a boat to your neighbor! Many of our boats are kept off-site & sometimes we can meet you at the marina/yard where the boat is located, or nearby and save you time traveling to Portside Yacht Brokers unnecessarily. The accommodations for this boat were designed for cruising comfort / racing without unnecessary weight. The galley is located just aft of the main bulk head, with the two burner gimbaled stove to port and the sink and icebox to stbd. The galley has tons of extra storage space too! Just forward of the main bulk head is an enclosed head which comes with a marine head to starboard and a vanity with sink to port. There are settee berths both to port and starboard in the main cabin with storage compartments under the berths. The Quarter berths are large and comfortable and include opening ports to the cockpit. The forward 8 ft. of the boat is left for storage for the sails and cruising gear. The Cabin sole is a light gray starboard material for ease of cleaning.
The deck configuration provides both racing and cruising features for comfort, security and convenience for cruising while maintain near optimum sailing efficiency. The cockpit sole has been redone with the teak foot rests removed and the sole is gray & white. The cabin trunk is high enough to provide standing headroom in the main cabin. The solid coamings around the forward end of the cockpit serve as a comfortable seat backs and provide shelter from spray and water on deck. The winches are mounted on top of the coamings and are situated so that jibs and spinnakers can be easily trimmed. These features will make cruising aboard this boat very comfortable without affecting sailing efficiency. The aft end of the cockpit is set-up for racing efficiency. Here the cockpit is full-width and all the mainsail controls are conveniently located for the helmsman and cockpit crew. Because this boat does not use overlapping head head sails and incorporates a retractable bow pole, the deck hardware layout is very simple. The Bravura 29 Sportster can be easily sailed by a crew of two and can be efficiently raced with a crew of four.
