The Gozzard 36 is an elegant blue water true cutter sailing yacht of beguiling character uniquely designed for a sailing couple with occasional guests, a small family, or a singlehander. Gozzards have earned a reputation for rock-solid quality construction.
Seaberry has been meticulously maintained to showpiece standards. In addition to her near perfect condition, she has been fully equipped including in-mast furling, bow thruster, autopilot, dinghy and davits, rev. cycle A/C, 3000-watt inverter, and electric windlass with cockpit remote. She has been lightly used on the Chesapeake Bay.
You will be hard-pressed to find a nicer Gozzard 36 or any boat in her class.
More simply said ... this boat is really really nice.

Accommodations
The innovative Gozzard 36 open plan is a refreshing departure from the traditional sailing yacht layout that is best seen to be appreciated. The interior is light, well ventilated, and homey. Instead of dividing the interior into 6' sections, Ted Gozzard "imagineered" a uniquely functional and flexible plan, enabling an open main salon by day to become a roomy private stateroom by night. Her bright richly finished interior joinery is handcrafted to furniture quality throughout using American cherry with a teak and basswood sole.
Descending the companionway the boat opens up before your eyes. You can see all the way forward where the traditional v-berth has been replaced with an airy main saloon. The saloon has the feel of a comfortable and elegantly appointed den. The opposing settees pivot together and become a centerline berth. A hinged bulkhead panel and double hinged door close off this area to create a huge private stateroom.
Continuing aft, there is a dinette that extends from the center of the boat outboard to starboard. Continuing aft on the starboard side is the galley.
On port is the forward-facing navigation station followed by a freezer and then the head with a separate shower stall with shower sump.
The master cabin is aft to starboard and features a king-size berth with standing room for changing, hanging locker, and storage cabinets.
Elegant and clever touches abound. Hinged screen doors and pocket and hinged hatch screens keep the pests away. There is a cedar-lined coat-length hanging locker at the forward bulkhead, and storage is abundant throughout.
