In penning the Europa model, whether the 36, 42 or 46, Grand Banks created the quintessential design for cruising our PNW waters. The additional weather protection afforded by the covered side decks and aft cockpit in conjunction with custom flybridge and cockpit enclosures provide a welcome extension of the spacious Salon and ideal outdoor spaces for safe line-handling, comfortable year-round activity and expanded, one-level living. The GB 46 Europa is of the classic Grand Banks pedigree with a practical layout, sturdy fiberglass construction, deep water design, and long range capability resulting in a complete cruising boat. She is of an easily-manageable size while providing just enough extra room, when compared to the 42, for more spacious interior quarters. The Grand Banks semi-displacement hull design, with a fine entry forward, hard chines aft, and a full keel has been proven on waters around the world. Her rugged twin Caterpillar 3208 engines allow her to cruise economically at 9 knots while allowing higher cruising speeds when needed. Ideal for a couple with children or guests, her forward staterooms, each with dedicated head and separate shower stall, provide ample space, privacy and comfort.
Jokin' is a beautiful example of the breed and has been maintained with care. Pride of ownership is evident in thoughtful appointments throughout including entertainment system, Grohe™ fixtures, Corian™ countertops, washer/dryer and holding plate refrigeration. Underway, she offers equipment for comfortable and efficient cruising including, trim tabs, synchronizer, Furuno™, Simrad™ and Icom™ headline the list of electronics that will deliver you to your favorite anchorage. Once on the hook, enjoy the freedom allowed by her inverter and upgraded Northern Lights genset and explore those remote anchorages aboard her 11' tender. Upon your return, the zoned Webasto hydronic furnace will welcome you back aboard for a cozy evening. Her signature large windows all around provide generous views and natural light, affording the feeling of being connected to the water and your surroundings rather than isolated deep in a cave-like space. All of this combines to make her a very inviting vessel that feels even newer than she is. Jokin' is ready to cruise north under your command.
