Exceptional Ricky Gillikin Custom Carolina built Cold-Molded Express Sportfisherman. The current owner has gone to great lengths to maintain and improve this vessel since purchase. The finishes and equipment are all in excellent operating order, and the boat is ready to leave for fishing or cruising adventures. The full A/C in the open helm deck provides great comfort while trolling offshore, and the capable Man engines power the hull very efficiently. The combination of the time tested "Carolina Flare" bow design, as well as the classic reverse tumblehome stern, leaves no doubt as to the pedigree of this traditional, yet modern equipped vessel.
Fine Lines has been updated with a ropy cherry interior, a new OLED flat screen TV, Bose Lifestyle audio/video system with speakers, as well as teak and holly Amtico flooring.
The boat has been in the hands of a dedicated, knowledgeable owner, who knows the value of preventative maintenance and constant updating relative to support for the value of a custom express sportfish, and it shows.
Performance and efficiency to be expected on average is 23 knots at 1750 RPM, with a fuel consumption averaging .65 Nautical Miles per Gallon.
High cruise with average load at 1950 is 26 knots.
WOT at 2270 RPM is 30 knots at .51 NMPG.
Having personally run this vessel offshore in sloppy Gulf of Mexico conditions, I can attest to the exceptional seakeeping and easy, non-pounding motion through very irregular, choppy 3-5 foot seas. The boat is very sure footed and predictable in its handling. As can be seen from the photos, the combination of extreme forefoot deadrise, in combination with the classic Carolina/Florida flare of the bow, combine with the added stability of the low deadrise stern to provide a stable yet, wave cutting running surface known throughout the line of traditional Carolina boat builders.
