Main Salon/Nav Station
A spacious and well thought out area, the main salon shows a level of detail and craftsmanship rarely seen in a yachts this size. Varnished cherry panels and trim, louvered cabinet doors, dovetailed drawers, and teak and holly soles are few of the highlights.
To port is an aft facing Navigation Station featuring a full array of electronics and easy electrical panel access. The chart table lifts for storage of charts, navigational tools, guidebooks ect.
To starboard is an L-shaped settee with a fold up table. The table is securely mounted to the main bulkhead. When opened, it becomes a large table reaching across the facing port side settee. Ample storage is found under the starboard settee where there are (3) batteries mounted. Under the portside bench is more storage with easy access in addition to a water tank.
More storage may be found above and behind both settees in the form of cabinets and 6 extra custom shelves.
Rich, Navy fabrics compliment the varnished cherry panels.
Galley
The galley is designed for an active cruising family. The double SS sink with single faucet is situated close to the center line so that it remains usable underway. A deep and well insulated icebox is outboard of the sinks. Ample storage can be found outboard and above the counter

Accommodations
SABRE'S distinctive "cherry" interiors are 2nd to none. Raised panel doors, solid edgings and gorgeous teak and holly cabin sole with all the "character dents" added over the years.
HONEYMOON sleeps 7 if necessary in two cabins. Vee berth holds two, aft cabin holds two and large convertible dinette sleeps two more. The port side settee makes a great single berth.
There is storage galore, hanging lockers, drawers, cupboards, seat back storage, under berth storage, enough for the most demanding cruises!
6'4" headroom, 3 screened opening deck hatches and 9 screened opening port lights and two chromed over brass dorades provide ventilation, bug protection and light throughout the vessel.
Generous port side navigation station houses re-peaters and VHF radio plus a large storage area for charts, cruising guides and traditional navigation instruments.
Port side head is large and features marine toilet, lavatory and storage and separate stall shower with sit shelf that is a delight to use when the on shore accommodations are less than inviting.
The fit and finish, the detail and craftmanship belie the fact this is a "Production Boat"! SABRE BUILT equals top of the line!
HONEYMOON has been meticulously maintained, cared for and lightly used. She is in excellent condition!

Letter from Owner
My wife and I have always enjoyed sailing and with our family growing we decided it was time to purchase a larger sailboat. We first put together a list of needs and wants. After researching several designs, attending boat shows, and asking a lot of questions we decided a Sabre 362 was the boat for us. April 2008 we became proud owners of our current boat Honeymoon, a 1994 Sabre 362. The quality, fit and finish of a Sabre shines above and beyond most boats, we also enjoy the performance while under sail.
I always enjoy sailing Honeymoon but one thing that is more rewarding to me is giving up the helm and letting you put Honeymoon through her paces, it’s magical and she will put a smile on your face. We have always stored Honeymoon in an inside heated storage facility and always pick at least one upgrade or maintenance issue to address during the winter. We are blessed to have the professional service from Crosswinds Marine Services available to perform the yearly maintenance and inspections including any upgrade or improvement we choose to do.
You can reviews some of these on our listing under Upgrades/Improvements & Ongoing maintenance
Our sailing season here in Michigan starts Memorial Day and ends Labor Day, with such a short season I choose to stay ahead of the ball on maintenance and upgrades which is reflected in Honeymoons current condition and allows us to spend the summer sailing. We are now embracing our empty nester stage of our life and still have the desire to sail so we will be downsizing to a J/Boat or a similar design for day sailing. Honeymoon is patiently waiting for her new owner who is looking for the perfect sailboat with the combination of high quality craftsmanship and performance “Crafted in the Maine Tradition” Until then, we will continue to enjoy her this summer.
