Mercruiser Overhaul - Winter 2020
Overhaul of engine winter 2020 included:
Remove engine from boat, clean bilge. Prep and antifoul outdrive and gimbal housing.
Install new starter, alternator and water pump. Install new spark plugs and tune up parts including wires, distributor cap, rotor and stator. Install new thermostats and fill engine with new coolant. Paint all new engine accessories
Assemble upper gearcase and fill with gear oil. Assemble transom assembly on boat. Install new gimbal bearing seal and new gimbal bearing. Install new trim sender and limit switches. Install new shift cable.
Install new exhaust elbows and exhaust Y-pipe kit. Install new distributor pick up sensor.
