SUNBOW  was designed and constructed back in the days when people expected catamarans to actually sail well. She was superbly built by Maine craftsmen using epoxy composite and premium equipment. Long term durability for offshore cruising use was paramount and the results speak for themselves. She is a true performer and extremely easy to sail. Leave the charter barges to the land lubbers. If cruising is what you want to do Sunbow is a gem.

The Awlgrip painted interior with vanished laminated cherry trim is exceptional to look at and very easy to clean. The interior layout is designed for cruising and offers large and efficient working spaces such as the galley, tool storage and machinery rooms. Sailing performance is exceptional on all points of sail with daggerboards ensuring great pointing ability.

SUNBOW has been extensively outfitted for cruising which has ranged from New England to Fiji. She has been well maintained during the whole time by her two owners. Recently the hulls, in late 2013, and the decks and spars, in late 2018, were professionally repainted with polyurethane.Almost all electronics have been updated, designer upholstery throughout, new mainsail and genoa were built.
