Bridge
MALO 42 Built by Malö Yachts AB, Schweden in 1993
Malö Yachts are designed and built to withstand long-term use in the severest conditions. Stronger built than most yachts, using Kevlar reinforced polyester, each hull is also insulated against condensation and protected under water by epoxy.
The ballast is completely encapsulated in the integral GRP keel, giving a problem free construction with lower maintenance. The rudder is carried on a solid stainless steel stock and connected to an integral skeg with a heavy-duty bronze fitting.
All Malö Yachts have a comprehensive Lloyds Certification as standard.
HIN: Hull Number 111 Build to Lloyd's Certification RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998. Mast Clearance: ~ 19,40 M above water
CONSTRUCTION: White GRP Hull, deck and superstructure Deck and hull GRP Sandwich built, reinforced with Kevlar Teak laid decks Teak laid cockpit and cockpit seats 70cm stanchions, push- and pulpit Wheel steering Semi long fin keel GRP-rudder blade on stainless steel shaft Fixed glass windscreen
