Brindabella is a 1993 Scott Jutson designed Jutson 80 that is now exclusively for sale with YOTI in Sydney.
Sometimes referred to as "The people's maxi" Brindabella was designed by Scott Jutson under the IMS handicap system as a 75 foot maxi. She later underwent structural changes including the addition of a bow sprit, and a "scoop" transom to extend her to 80 feet.
She won the Sydney to Hobart line honours in 1997, had four second placings and has broken numerous records including the Sydney to Hobart record for a conventionally ballasted yacht (1999), the Sydney to Wollongong race, Bird island, Cabbage Tree Island, Sydney Noumea, Sydney Moolooolaba, and Sydney Gold Coast races.
