Accommodations
The Island Packet 31 offers more interior volume than any boat of it’s size. Starting forward, there is a spacious v-berth, sleeping two with hanging locker to port. The head is next aft to starboard with access door to the main salon and forward cabin, The main salon has a teak and holly sole, bulkhead mounted table, “L” shaped settee to starboard which converts to a double and facing settee which sleeps one to port. Underneath, behind and above both of these settees is storage and there is a hanging locker, also. To port of the companionway is the “U” shaped galley. To starboard is the nav table and single quarter berth.
Galley
The “U” shaped galley is to port of the companionway and is a safe place for the cook to work. Double bowl stainless steel sinks. Hot and cold pressure water. Hand operated freshwater pump. Two burner propane stove with oven. Refrigerated Ice Box. Large Dry Hold.
Deck and Hull
Island Packets have wonderfully wide decks with outboard shrouds and good handrails allowing safe egress forward.
