Regarding fuel rate, owner reports:
Took a ride today and recorded the following fuel burn from flow gauge.
Note: she is loaded with full tanks and I was running against tide , so these numbers are conservative for both speed and burn.
1760 rpm = 14 kts at 10 GPH
1860 rpm = 15 kts at 12 GPH
1960 rpm = 17 kts at 13 GPH
2060 rpm = 18 kts at 15 GPH
2160 rpm = 19 kts at 17 GPH
2509 rpm = 23.5 kts WOT.
My preferred cruise is 1960 rpm which is 50% engine load. I generally refuel when tanks reach half and the overall burn rate is usually right around 5 gallons per hour.
