Moody 376 "Dreams" - New to the market. "Dreams" has been under her current ownership since year 2000, and is only a 2 owner boat from new. Dreams is extremely well set up for short handed cruising, she features centre cockpit, wheel steering, bow thruster, larger than standard engine (Thornycroft 50hp instead of 35hp) in mast furling, genoa roller furling, all lines led aft into cockpit and an electric winch to assist with the genoa furling.
Below decks, Dreams is beautifully appointed in teak joinery and has two generous double cabins each with en suite featuring w.c. shower and sink. The galley is well appointed with oven, fridge, hot and cold water and good workspace. the saloon is of a good size and features plenty of stowage, saloon settees are fitted with le cloths too. The forward facing chart table is well appointed. Going aft from the chart table to the aft cabin is an additional berth, and excellent access to the engine.
Dreams is very clean and tidy and appears to be well maintained and sensibly priced. Viewing is recommended.
The accommodation on the Moody 376 is built to a high standard and finished in teak joinery. The layout offers 2 very good sized double cabins each with an en suite. the cabin sole is with teak and holly stripe.
From aft, the owners cabin features an off set double berth to port with settee to starboard, good storage throughout and access to en suite with hot and cold water, sink, shower and w.c.. Going forward from the aft cabin is a passageway leading to the chart table. The passageway features a full length single berth with lee cloth to starboard and good storage outboard. Engine access is also accessed via a large removeable panel in this passageway.
The chart table is forward facing with good instrumentation, drawers and lifting counter top. To port, at the aft end of the saloon is the U shaped galley, fitted with large top opening refridgerator, 2 burner hob and oven, two s/s sinks, top opening cool box and good storage.
The saloon features two full length settee berths with lee cloths and large centre line table with opening leafs and bottle storage via the top opening panel. To port is a cupboard/bar area. Shelves and lockers also fitted.
Forward of the saloon to starboard in the forward heads, with shower attachment, storage, and sink. The forward cabin features a double berth with in fil and stop up, and hanging lockers.
The interior is clean and tidy throughout, joinery is in lovely condition, upholstery and soft furnishings are believed to be original but in good condition.
The Deck of the Moody 376 features a teak laid centre cockpit arrangement with sprayhood and full cockpit tent enclosure with removeable side and aft panels. The port side of the cockpit houses a wonderfully large storage locker. The boat features a bow thruster at the steering wheel helm position with self tailing winches and all lines are led aft to the cockpit enabling short handed sailing. There is also an electric winch which takes the genoa furling line.
The side decks are non slip GRP and the fordeck features a good size anchor locker with electric windlass, anchor and chain.
Dreams is fitted with a sloop rig with in mast furling and furling genoa. The standing rigging was replaced in 2011, mainsail replaced 2011, the genoa is believed to be 15 years old.
All control lines are led aft to the cockpit, the genoa furling line leads onto an electric winch controlled from a cockpit sole mounted switch which is easily operated by helmsman or crew. The age of the running rigging is unknown but appears in good serviceable condition. There is a spinnaker pole included but no downwind sails are included.
Dreams is ideally set up for short handed cruising, the addition of the cockpit tend is also a very nice feature.
The galley is U shaped to port. There is a good sized top opening refridgerator, 2 burner hob with oven, two stainless steel round sinks, hot and cold water, top opening cool box, drawers and good storage space. Removeable counter top above hob.
Raymarine ST50 Wind, Speed and depth instruments to hatch garage Autohelm 6000 autopilot. At chart table Raytheon R20 Radar, Phillips GPS Navigator with cockpit repeater. Navtex, Raymarine VHF with DSC.
The instrumentation is largely dated by modern standards, but in working condition.
