With An easily-driven hull form, coupled with moderate displacement, rod rigging and sensible deck layout make for one sweet ride, both forgiving and responsive.
The Forward Berth and two aft bunks allow for some solid space for chillin or nap time. The Salon table stores out of the way to allow for more room , or when you're ready to throw back some coldies or grind some chow it drops down and sets up in a snap. The 27 horse Yanmar is original , but you don't fix what ain't broke. It fires up with no hesitation and purs like a kitten. Blue Heron has a 20 gallon fuel tank , 35 gal water tank and a 13 gal holding tank which hasn't been used once. The cockpit is spacious and allows for great sight lines from high or low. The tiller steering allows for responsive control and all teak and LP has been kept up beautifully. The Dacron racing sails are about 6 years old but in great shape and the Spinnaker has never been used. Blue Heron , currently under ownership of her second owner since 1990.
