The Cal 33 was a tremendous success when first introduced. Strong demand for them continues to this day due to the same strengths that made them popular as new boats. Excellent sailing performance, fine construction, and roomy, attractive interiors are timeless attributes.

Sleeps 6/7. Forward cabin with V berth. Custom mattress, folds along centerline for access to storage bins below berth. Hanging locker next aft to port, enclosed head with handheld shower and vanity opposite to starboard. Main cabin next aft with settee to port and C-shaped settee to starboard. Dining table with leaves is fixed on centerline. Galley next aft to port, nav station and quarterberth opposite to starboard.
Galley features Tasco two-burner stainless steel propane stove with oven, double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurized water, ice box fitted with Adler Barbour 12 volt refrigeration system. Manual salt water foot pump. Six gallon hot water heater new in 2016.
Electrical system includes 12 volt DC system and 110 volt AC dockside system. 12 volt system features two Group 31 house batteries, one Group 24 engine starting battery, Guest charger/converter, rigid solar panel, inverter, circuit breaker distribution panel with voltmeter, battery selector switch. 110 volt system includes circuit breaker distribution panel and shore power cord.

Sail inventory includes Doyle Stackpack mainsail with lazy jacks, Dimattia roller-furling 152% genoa (2016), and older roller-furling 135% genoa. Harken Mk IV genoa roller-furling system. Rigid vang with line control, whisker pole, Mid-boom Schaefer mainsheet traveller mounted on coachroof. Barient winch inventory includes: two #24 two-speed, self-tailing genoa sheet winches and three #22 two-speed, self-tailing halyard, sheet, reefing winches mounted on coachroof.
