This Shannon 38 ketch has enjoyed only one owner who has used the boat seasonally and lightly in the Northeast, and he has lavished incredible attention maintaining his beloved boat. This owner has had the skill, time and money to see that everything has been always done right. As an example of how he treats his possessions, all you need to know is that this owner drove his Mercedes Benz automobile with the same 40HP diesel engine that is in this Shannon 38 for over 400, 000 miles before he gave the car to his daughter. For the next owners of this Shannon 38, it will be a little like buying Downton Abbey, as they will be obligated to continue the great stewardship of this beautiful offshore cruiser/liveaboard.
