The Jeanneau Sunshine 36 is a spacious fast cruiser with twin double aft cabins, four berths in the saloon and two forward, giving a total of 10 berths. Irish Mist has a lifting keel so ideal for also exploring shallower waters, wheel steering and diesel fired warm air heating. During her current ownership of the last twenty years she has been regularly maintained and updated.

The accommodation offers up to ten berths in a three cabin layout with 6'4" approximate maximum headroom.
FORECABIN: Fitted with a V-berth, infill to form a double, useful storage areas and hatch to foredeck.
HEADS: Separate compartment forward to port with a marine toilet, wash basin with shower head, and hanging locker opposite to starboard.
SALOON: Consisting of an L-shaped settee to port and settee berth to starboard, each with additional pilot berths, either side of the central table. Good natural light and ventilation via a large opening central hatch and various windows whilst useful storage is provided beneath and behind the berths, with a drinks cabinet forward.
GALLEY: Aft to port equipped with a 4-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, sink with pressurised fresh and salt water supplies, cool box and ample storage in various lockers and drawers. Cutlery and crockery included.
AFT CABINS: Double aft cabins to port and starboard, both with opening portlights to cockpit, hanging lockers and further storage.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Eberspacher diesel fired warm air heating system. Pressurised cold water supply throughout (an older instant gas water heater is installed but currently disconnected). Reupholstered throughout in velour material, with matching curtains.
Masthead bermudan sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom by Francespar. Spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2010 approx). Adjustable backstay tensioner. Terylene running rigging. Extra No.3 tracks. Slab reefing mainsail. Kemp Furlex headsail furling system. 2 x Barbarossa 45.2 sheet winches. 2 x Barbarossa 40 halyard winches.
Located under companionway, Yanmar 3GMD 3-cylinder 20hp diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive (new 2007) to folding Gori 2-bladed propeller (new 2007). Approximately 1.5 l/ph fuel consumption when cruising at 6.5 knots. New water pump installed in 2008. Rev counter and fuel gauge.
The engine has been serviced annually by her current owner and has proved very reliable during his ownership.
2 x 85ah 12v batteries (one new June 2019) charged via engine alternator. Electrical distribution panel. Full interior lighting.
Jeanneau Sunshine 36 built in 1985 by Jeanneau to a design by Tony Castro. White GRP hull with red style stripes, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Aluminium toe rails (new 2009). Cast iron keel with lifting centreplate (new pin 2002, and keel checked 2004) raised by a winch in the saloon mounted on the keel box. Minimum draft 4'3", maximin draft 6'11". Wheel steering to partially skeg hung rudder. Aft self draining cockpit.
The keel and keel plate have been professionally blasted clean then epoxy coated by the current owner.
