A true performer in its time, the Catalina 38 is a classic sailing vessel. Drawn from a Sparkman & Stephens design, Catalina bought the design rights, updated them to make her fit the fleet styling and produced 366 of them from 1978 to 1990.
Lizzy D comes equipped with a newer mainsail, furling jib, tri-radial spinnaker with pole, newer lifelines and newer sail cover. Electronics include a Garmin depthsounder, Raymarine plotter, Garmin GPS, and VHF Radio. The original Universal engine was changed to Yanmar 3GM30F 27HP in 1999.
