Troubadour is a special yacht with a great story. She is hull number 1 of the popular Nautor's Swan 46 built in 1983 and has performed well above expectation as both a racing and cruising yacht.
First commissioned for a US client, the boat was delivered to San Francisco where she was predominately used as a racing yacht. Several years later she was sold to the East Coast of the United States where she raced and cruised in and around Long Island sound from New York to Newport Rhode Island and beyond.
In April 2010, the current owner purchased Troubadour in Connecticut and set off back to Europe to prepare for some world cruising. Their sailing adventures over the last 9 years have covered most of the Atlantic Coast of France, as far North as Scotland in the North Sea, then down through South America, across to the Pacific, New Zealand and eventually Australia.
The boat has now covered in excess of 30,000nm, and a good part of that has been with the current owner and his wife sailing mostly two-handed. Troubadour is ready for more adventure in this style or could be a great family weekender with some racing thrown in! She presents in very original condition and whilst more than capable to sail on as is, she would be incredibly desirable after a refit!

The saloon is finished with teak joinery which includes storage cupboards, entertainment area with TV/ stereo and forward liquor cabinet
The galley is located to port and is a fore and aft layout as typical in most Swans and very usable at sea. Good preparation space, storage etc
Fridge and fridge/ freezer units top and bottom in galley. Refrigeration runs via either engine driven compressor or 220v shore power and is water cooled

B&G H300 instrument system with wind/ speed/ depth inputs. FFD and Analog displays on deck with a replaced H3000 FFD in Navigation station. Some spares are also onboard.
