The Harbour Queen is currently in operation providing sight seeing tours/taxi service in Channel Island Harbor. It's current COI (Certifcate of Inspection) is for 42 passengers with a limited Coastwise route. With 24 or less passengers, it can be operated by Master only.
Fuel consumption is approximately 1/3 gallon per hour running at 5 knots. Vessel is very stable with keel running 3/4 length of boat.
The boat has a PIRATE THEME which is highly attractive to the public. There is a PA system inside and on the roof forward & aft for announcements & music. Is has a great am/fm CD system iniside with a four speaker system.
There is a bar, and all seating has cushions for comfort. The captains chair is forward with plenty of view. There is a head in the forward storage area. The boat has plenty of storage under the seats and forward. It has 53 adult & 31 child (requires 6, but has 31 for school groups) life preservers and two 15 passenger life floats. The fire system is a Fireboy Auto Fire Extinguisher.
The Harbour Queen is well maintained. The Harbour Queen is in it's fourth year of providing Pirate Harbor Cruises and Water Taxi in Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard California. In it's first year of operation it carried less than 500 passengers. At the end of the third year, it carried over 6000 passengers providing Pirate Boat Rides, Water Taxi Service, Private Charters, and Holiday Cruises during the month of December.
The Harbour Queen can be used for a business on any inland waters and large harbors. It would also be a lot of fun for a family fun boat.
