Tana Lee has spent the past 5 years in refit with the following items addressed:
The layout is a 3 cabin with the master Pullman berth mid-ship to port with insuite head, pipe berths midship on starboard and Vee berth forward for guests.

Classic Hinckley. Needs brightwork to be beautiful again.
The layout in Tana Lee is a 3 cabin/2 head configuration with a central companionway down the center connecting them. As you come down the stairs, you find the nav station to port and dinette just forward with the full galley to starboard. Down the central aisle, the pipe berths are on the starboard side and the master to port. A guest/day head and combo shower is just off the salon for ease of access. The second head is between the master and Vee berths and a unique central, free standing large shower is located between all 3 cabins. Classis Danish cast lights are located throughout the cabins;
Dual reverse cycle air conditioning keep the interior temperature comfortable.
The teak and holly sole and wood work are typical of Hinckley quality and even though much of the interior has been rebuilt, it was all done with the Hinckley image in mind.
The large L galley is to starboard with a big Shipmate 3 burner propane stove and oven. The is a double stainless sink and lots of drawers, cabinets and cubbies providing plenty of storage. The new large fridge and separate freezer in the counter space runs on separate new Dometic compressors.
And hidden away with the genset is a fantastic MagicChef ice maker. Makes a batch of ice every 10 minutes! Perfect for those sundowners!
The original Perkins 120hp inline 6 cylinder diesel engine in located under the sole in the salon. The engine and transmission were rebuilt during the retrofit in 2015 and still have very few hours. Features in the engine space are large Raycor 1000 fuel filters, big Groco sea strainers and a oil transfer system to ease changes. New gauges and panel are in the cockpit.
The keel is a lifting design and controlled from the salon. The full down position gives a draft of 9'11" for great off shore sailing. In the full up position, the draft is a reasonable 5'6" for coastal sailing.
The 110V system connects to shore power by 2 30A shore power cords while at the dock. Away from the dock, a new Northern Lights 12KW diesel genset is located under the companionway stairs. The Hobbs meter is showing 100 hours.
A new Xantrex Freedom SW 3012 inverter is also included to allow for 110V use sailing.
The 12V Electrical Panel wiring, breakers and meters are all new during the rebuild.
The navigation and communication instruments are new but relatively simple. At the nav station is a new Simrad VHF with remote and a B&G multi display. At the helm pedestal is a new B&G chartplotter with radar and GPS.
The salon features a large Vizio LCD TV.
A major part of the rebuild involved the rigging. It features completely new standing and running rigging, repainted main and mizzen masts and booms with AwlGrip, The mainsail and mizzen sail are both on Hood in-mast furling systems.
The control lines run to the cockpit to 2 x Barient 23 winches on the coach roof, 2 x Barient 28 winches aft for the light air sails, and 2 x huge Barient 36 primary winches.
Currently the sails are removed and the boat prepped for hurricane season in Miami. Prep required for any sea trials.
The deck area on the Hinckley is wide open and easy to move around. The only teak decks are in the cockpit.
The ground tackle includes a 60# CQR anchor on full chain rode and a secondary Danforth. The primary is controlled by a Nillson one-way electric windlass.
The cockpit features a Magnum propane grill and a Dometic freezer for those weekend outings.
