The Tarquin Trader 41+2 provides spacious accommodation for up to 6 people in a 3 cabin layout and would make a fabulous liveaboard vessel. The aft master cabin is huge and has an ensuite head with shower over a shallow bath. There is pressurised hot water throughout and the galley has a gas oven with hob and grill as well as a full sized domestic fridge. The wooden interior feels warm and inviting and the large saloon affords great views. Forward of the saloon and helm are a twin and a double cabin and a second head. Eberspacher cabin heating keeps the inside warm and cosy. Outside, the flybridge and expansive teak decks provide plenty of space for socialising, sunbathing and enjoying the view.
Stern glands serviced 2019, antifouled before launch 2019.
Moored at the Southern end of Windermere on a private jetty this vessel is available to view by appointment only. Please contact Maiden Marine on 015394 88050 to arrange a viewing.
The yacht is constructed from GRP with the decks finished in Teak. Large deck saloon / wheelhouse with flybridge and second helm station and radar arch over. There are covers for the flybridge and deck saloon windows. Solid guard rails with teak handrail provide safety on deck. Twin motors and twin steel rudders.
The interior is finished in wood with leather upholstery giving a warm feel to the living accommodation. Lifting panels in the saloon floor and under stair hatchways give excellent access to the motors and holding tank.
The vessel is fitted with 2 x Ford Watermota 120hp inboard diesel engines with shaft driven 3-bladed propellers. 2 x 100 gallon fuel tanks give a range of approximately 400 miles at 8 knot cruising speed. The engines will be serviced shortly.
A bank of 4 12V batteries provide engine start and domestic power and these are charged via the motors or shore power battery charger. A generator is present in the boat but is currently not functional. There are 240 V sockets throughout the boat.
Hot water is provided either by a calorifier or an emersion heater when running on shore power.
The Trader 41+2 provides great accommodation whether you intend to use the vessel for holidays or as a liveaboard home. There are 6 berths in three cabins. Starting outside there is the flybridge with cushioned seating and extensive deck areas fore and aft with plenty of room for sun loungers.
Moving inside the deck saloon you find the helm position with engine controls, navigation equipment and a large chart area. Aft is a spacious saloon with leather semi-circular settee to port with folding leaf circular dining table and a second leather settee to starboard. The saloon is light and airy with extensive windows through which to enjoy the view.
Aft of the saloon down some steps, to port is the galley. This has a double stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water, gas oven with 3 burner hob and grill, microwave oven, full sized domestic fridge and a good array of storage. The sink and hob have covers which provide extra worktop space when not in use. 240v sockets allow normal domestic appliances to be used when hooked up to shore power.
Aft of the galley is the master cabin with double bed, wardrobes, seating, dressing table and ensuite heads compartment with electric sea toilet, hand basin, shower and a small bath.
