Description from 2018 Survey

General Construction:

Carvel flush, all welded with a single hard chine. The stem is raked and the stern flat and plumb with a full width swim grid built on a 2” pipe frame, decked with aluminum checker plate. The sides are plumb to the forward shoulders where they begin to angle into the bow flair. A 2” split pipe is welded all the way around the deck shear line and across the stern as well as another two runs of 2” split pipe welded a foot apart, just above the waterline and starting from ahead of the shoulder right to the stern which stiffen and protect the hull sides.

A large engine compartment is in the stern with steps off of it down into the cockpit behind the cabin. A single door opens into a large open accommodation area with a washroom to the starboard side. The companionway is up the center with banks of 3 aircraft seats on either side. A 3 step stairway leads up into the wheelhouse which has two pedestal seats, the operator being on the starboard side.

Bottom plate is 3/8”.

Keel plate is 3/8” x 2” on the exterior hull.

Large skegs are bolted to the hull ahead of each leg.

Longitudinal frames are 2 x 2 ¾” “T” frames

 

Decks:

Flush, smooth plate, ¼” aluminum with non-skid coating. Steps down into a cockpit ahead of the engine compartment. The stern and side decks to the cabin are surrounded with ¾” pipe railings, 42” in height. There are ¾” pipe hand rails on the cabin roof and around the wheelhouse sides.

Deck House or Cabin: 3/16” aluminum plate with large aluminum framed tempered glass windows. The wheelhouse is raised forward.

 

Deck Hatches:

5 engine hatches -a 24” x 24” watertight single action access hatch is installed on the port engine cover hatch. The port and starboard engines have 6’ x 4’ hinged aluminum hatch covers with air shock assist lifts. Over the center engine is a 5’ x 3’ hinged hatch with a 14” x 3’ hatch directly ahead of it. All the hatches are sealed and have locking devices to hold them down.

 

Doors:

2 -51” x 24” water tight, single action hinged doors are installed on each side of the wheelhouse, these have 18” x 13 ½” windows in them. The main cabin door is in the after end of the cabin and is a 62” x 28” weather proof single action hinged door with a 25” x 16” window.

Hand rails: All ¾” pipe.

Cleats: 4 x 12” cleats, evenly spaced from the stern and 1 cleat on the bow centerline.
