The C&C 40 is perhaps the last classic C&C designed. She has the medium low freeboard and sweeping sheer that put the C&C design office on the map. The market eventually demanded more room below which meant the old C&C lines had to go.

Spindrift is the centerboard version so she only draws 4'6" with the centerboard up
