The Westsail 32 will always be recognized as the world cruiser that fueled the dreams for casting off the lines, setting sails, and cruising off into the sunset. Many a Westsail 32 has carried their adventure seeking crews to distant shores and, whether they be near or far, Treasure is waiting for her chance to carry you safely towards yours!
Originally sold in 1979, Treasure (formally Czardas Hull# 810) was outfitted and splashed by a former Westsail employee in 1986. A classic double-ender with a full length keel & outboard rudder, she was designed for singlehanded sailing or a family cruiser. Treasure is very spacious due to her 11' beam and wide deckhouse. She has comfortable sleeping accommodations for 5 persons. The U-shaped galley is located amidships, the most comfortable and accessible place on the boat. Known for their seaworthiness, the Westsail 32 blue water cruiser is built stout and with ample load carrying capacity to carry her next owner wherever the winds blow. With minimal TLC and a few updates, Treasure will once again be ready to go the distance, and will provide a comfortable liveaboard yacht.
Are you ready to take this seaworthy girl off the dock and sail off towards your distant shores?
Below deck, Treasure offers loads of livable, light and bright interior space for 32 feet. Moving forward from the companionway, there is a U-shaped galley to port offering a gimballed Force 10 propane 2-burner stove/oven outboard, a huge top loading icebox wired for refrigeration (needs compressor) and a deep stainless steel sink with pressurized H&C fresh water. Ample storage can be found in the lockers and drawers located outboard along the hull and on the aft bulkhead.
To starboard is the navigation station with chart drawers and additional storage under the table.
Treasure has two settees facing each other-far more convenient at sea-with a pilot berth above the starboard settee. A wall-mounted table drops down between the two settees to accommodate friends and family for dinner but can also be stored out of the way when additional floor space is required. A butterfly hatch over the settees brightens the interior of the boat.
Continuing forward, is a spacious head area on the port side with recent updates including a Vacuflush head and pressurized H&C fresh water with 6 gal. hot water at your disposal. The head has two sets of doors - one gives you the choice of closing off the passage to create a larger head/shower area and changing room. There is storage above the sink and below. Opposite the head on the starboard side is a hanging locker and set of drawers, and in the forward stateroom is a large v berth.
