The Westerly Pentland is one of five Westerly models all based on the same 31' hull designed by Laurent Giles. A wheel-steered, centre cockpit twin-keeled yacht, this example is a ketch version, a layout that maximises space in the cockpit and on deck. She appears to be well presented and maintained. 4 x 12-volt batteries 100Ah 2019 charging from the engine alternator, solar panel and wind generator, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, immersion heater, battery charger with monitoring system and inverter.
Twin Keel, Wheel Steering
Built by Westerly Marine Construction Ltd. in 1979. White GRP hull and white decks with grey painted non-slip surfaces. Cast iron twin keels. Wheel steering to skeg hung rudder. Self-draining centre cockpit. Epoxied below the waterline in 2004. Last surveyed in 2017.
