The 1979 Gulfstar 43 is a classic center cockpit built to sail any waters. She is also a comfortable live-aboard option. Full teak interior with a modification for a larger ice box and ice maker was installed. The original icebox is still intact to compliment the stove/oven and stainless steel sinks in the galley. Also a reverse osmosis water filtration has been added to the galley sink.
Sleeps six. Two cabins, two heads with showers. There is a 1884 50hp Perkins diesel velvet drive transmission, Onan generator, batteries and pumps all in a engine room that makes for easier inspection and repair.
She has a comfortable center cockpit, lazy jacks, windlass, anchor chain and recently serviced (2016) 4 man life raft. Hauled out in August 2018 for a complete bottom job (invoices available for review).
