Vessel Walk through/Features
This model features the galley up layout, with 2 staterooms and additional sleeping accommodations for the Captain off the companionway, sleeping a total of 8 Owners and guests.
Moving from Bow to Stern, the interior accommodations include a forward stateroom with upper single & lower double berths, hanging locker, overhead rod storage, below deck chain locker access and drawer storage and private access to the day head. Just aft and to port is the amidships owners stateroom. The owner’s stateroom offers a queen berth, hanging locker, storage drawers, air conditioning and a private ensuite head with vacuflush fresh water toilets, sink, medicine cabinet and separate stall shower. Across from the owners stateroom is the guest head. The guest head has a vacuflush marine toilet, sink and shower. Just aft of the guest head is the pilot berth. This is an over sized single bed with storage drawers underneath and an additional deep freezer. Adjacent to the pilot berth is a very large cupboard/pantry and then up a few steps from the lower cabin area is the main salon. The salon is a bright and open space thanks largely to the large side windows which provide an abundance of natural light and ventilation. The very most forward area in the salon features multiple custom cabinetry, drawers and an icemaker. The full length galley is located on the port side and features ample counter space, stainless steel sink, custom storage, below counter, separate side by side refrigerator & freezer, two burner electric cook top and convection microwave oven. Across to starboard is the custom L-shaped settee which converts to an almost queen size bed with high/low table.
The full length galley is located on the port side of the salon and offers the chef plenty of food preparation space being sure to indulge any culinary delight. Equipment includes separate under counter, refrigerator & freezers, a two burner electric stove top, convection oven and stainless sink.
Cockpit, Fly bridge & Deck
Take note of her expansive self-bailing cockpit which has an astounding 120 (+) sqft of space, plenty of space to dine or lounge while at the dock or underway all of which make the Hatteras 46 convertible a very popular cruiser, but, obviously its primary forte is, of course, fishing! From the full back down station which includes a dedicated Furuno sonar, the large tackle station with bait tank, sink and tackle storage to its large tuna door located in the transom all make this boat an outstanding fishing machine! She is sure to raise and land the largest of trophy fish!
Fishing Equipment and Cockpit equipment
Climbing up the stainless steel ladder from the cockpit takes you to the flybridge which has the very sought-after tournament style layout with the helm location located in the very rear of the bridge. This layout provides for forward facing seating arrangements that provides excellent visibility while maneuvering as well as a bird’s eye view of the cockpit so that the Captain can keep close watch on the fishing. The bridge carries both ample storage and an abundance of comfortable seating for up to 8 guest and crew. Besides the twin helm seats, there is a stbd side settee as well as an additional forward facing settee. The bridge also features a bimini top and New in 2018, full Strataglass bridge enclosure all which offers tremendous comfort for guests whether cruising or just hanging out on the bridge after a fun day of boating.
Besides being equipped with all of the vessel operational systems one would expect on a vessel such as this; full engine controls, full engine gauges, trim tabs, and emergency engine shut downs she is also equipped with a full array of TOP of the line electronics the majority of which are barely a year old!

Power is provided by a pair of Detroit 8V71TI's pared to Alison transmissions and 28x32 four blade bronze propellers. The Detroit 8V71TI's are rated @ 430HP and as of May 2018, the engine room meters are showing 1546 hrs since the reported rebuilds in the 1990's by one of the prior owners (reported to the brokerage by the professional maintenance company whom has managed the vessel for two owners since 2002). The 46 with this engine package cruises at approx. 18-20 knots with an estimated burn rate of about 30 gallons an hour. The engine room is very clean, appears to be well maintained & organized. Much of the ships systems are still as factory as the ships wiring is still in its original wire looms and color/number coded from the factory. Since this current owner has owned her he has had her on a professional monthly service plan done to maintain, service and make needed repairs ensuring safe voyaging at all times.
The electrical power is delivered by both AC and DC electrical systems with their prospective distribution panels and breakers. The heart of the AC system is the Northern Lights 18kw generator and the 2800 Watt, Outback inverter system. The inverter was installed NEW in 2016 and it has its own dedicated set of 8 golf cart batteries (also new in 2016) ensuring that the inverter system does not accidentally drain the main house batteries while in use. The DC system is comprised of a very large house bank of batteries, a total of (4) 8D, 12 v batteries as well as (2) group 27 engine start batteries.
