The hull of a once beautiful copy of the famous Sultana original built in 1768: The new build started in Piller Point, Ca better known as Half Moon Bay in 1968 built out of the left over materials from the Golden gate bridge. It was commissioned in 1977 and went to work in the San Francisco Bay hosting kids birthdays and private events for many years.With a hand full of hard working crew they refit, remodeled and made her sea ready. She is new from stem to stern. Everything top notch, she was redesigned into a full blown pirate ship documented as the Devil's Gauntlet Brigantine. Below deck she an up scale 10 person, long term live aboard. Granite counters, top of the line appliances. 3 queen berths and 2 double bunks, two full heads with full size tubs and cascading waterfall showers, vessel sinks, full guest bar, large salon with 55" LED tv. DVD players in each stateroom. Full size galley force 10 stove with oven. Side by side fridge. Trash compactor. Built in coffee maker and microwave oven. Granite counters with built in cutting board. Plenty of cabinet space and a 5 gallon purified water dispenser. The workshop/tool room is fully equipped and has full size stacked washer and dryer. For electronics a Garmin GPS combo 12 inch screen with radar chart plotter, depthfinder, a big swivel compass built in 1942. New VHF radio. She has been refit with a brand new cummings diesel 210 with turbo full summit brothers stainless exhaust with stainless 3" muffler rapped in heat shield by summit racing, 222 gal capacity of fuel, in new tanks, 110 gal capacity of fresh water, in new twin 55 gal tanks, 50 gal holding tank with convenient deck pump out. Each head is electric with electro scan system, all fresh water pumps, bilge pumps, and the battery banks are new. Fresh start battery. 50 amp, 110 amp are new. 12v LED throughout. The inverter, Sea strainer and dripless packing, cutlass bearing, shaft, prop, rudder, standing rigging, running rigging, red sails, block & tackle, sealed hatches, helm box, top mast flag toppers are new. Exterior wood is imported African Mahogany. Electric windlass anchor wench. All wire for 12v 50 amp and 110 amp are USCG. With new fuse panels and breakers. 110 outlets are GFCI through out. Propane hot water on demand. 3 burner propane oven. 45 USCG adult life jackets and 10 child jackets. Fire suppression system is current and USCG certified. Currently going through the COI for passengers and license to charter.
She travels comfortably at 8 knots under motor power at 1800 RPM, 1/8 gal per hr burn rate. Under sail 12 knots + are expected. and more written down so no second guessing at all simple turn key ship. She also has up to date 501(C)3 for youth sail training ship. And so much more.
