Designed by the inimitable William Garden, the CT 41 is a roomy and heavily built fiberglass cruiser that looks like a carvel-planked classic, but without the hassles associated with wood. The CT 41 is a traditional William Gardner design open ocean cruising ketch with the warm charm of an all wood interior. With the ketch rig she can be shortened to sail in rough conditions or with full sail in light air. The topside bright work has been meticulously maintained with cetol. This William Gardner design was imported under several different names, Formosa 41, Sea Wolf 41 and CT41 from Taiwan There have been many that have sailed safely around the world and many are still going strong.
As you enter into the vessel, you are greeted with and abundance of light, natural ventilation and detailed, teak woodwork that includes; beamed overhead, teak and holly sole throughout, wood carvings all complimented by artisan crafted woodwork with brass accents. Old warm charm, old world craftsmanship all from bygone area that you will not find on modern vessels.
From the spacious cockpit entry is through a starboard companionway to below deck accommodations with a unique layout. The galley is to port and the nav-station is across to starboard as you descend, followed by the salon with a spacious, u shaped dinette to port that converts to a double berth when needed. Across to starboard is another large settee that also pulls out to make a large. Above both settees there is an abundance of storage found in lockers, shelves and cubby holes. The forward section comprises the large master stateroom to starboard that has a large Pullman berth that extends to a queen. Directly across and accessed from both the master, mid ships stateroom as well as the salon is the head with a separate stall shower. Finally all the way forward in the forepeak is a pilot berth to port and an abundance of lockers and drawers to starboard with access to the chain locker all the way forward.

The majority of factory electrical systems were removed and have been re-wired with ANCOR wire and DC and AC distribution panels installed

PROPULSION AND MACHINERY
It’s been reported by the previous survey that this engine was installed new in 1992 and appears to have been well maintained over the years by the attending surveyor. Some notable improvements as noted by the surveyor; the re-location of the engine and transmission oil filters to the space on the port side of the engine, next to the fuel primary fuel filters, fuel polishing pump and fuel manifold and re-location of the seawater pump on top of the engine for easy access.
UPGRADES AND RETROFIT (last six years as reported by SOLD MLS system)
On Deck: The decks are in good condition; they have been entirely re-fastened and seams reefed and re-caulked. The cockpit teak overlay has been completely renewed and a custom aft deck locker added for a stern anchor rode.

2017 - Replaced diesel engine exhaust mixing elbow, nipple, flange and hose
2016 - Replaced engine glow plugs (4 each ) with NGK 1232
