The Contessa 32 is one of the most admired yacht designs ever mass produced. Designed by David Sadler and built by Jeremy Rogers the design has been in production from its inception in 1970 until the current day. Having proved itself in the most arduous conditions during the infamous 1979 Fastnet with a Contessa 32 being the smallest boat to complete the race. Examples of the design can be found cruising in the four corners of the world, drawing admiring glances where ever they go.
In very nice condition having been lovingly maintained and upgraded in the current ownership BANDOLERO is offered with a sail away inventory including:
Preventative epoxy treatment applied below the waterline.
Beta Marine 20hp diesel engine (1998).
Halyard Marine Aquadrvie unit, professionally reconditioned 2015.
New Z Spars mast, standing rigging and running rigging in 2013.
Kemp on-mast roller reefing system.
Purchased by her current owners in 2005 BANDOLERO has been lovingly maintained and upgraded for comfortable, short-handed, coastal cruising. With considerable investment in the last 10 years. Sailed predominantly just two-handed she has proved to be a safe a reliable friend.
Lying ashore BANDOLERO has been cleaned, polished and antifouled, she is ready to launch and sail away. Viewing by prior arrangement.
