The Grand Banks 55 yacht is the ultimate gentleman’s cruiser. Grand Banks have been building boats for many years and have a reputation for building excellent long range cruisers. This Grand Banks 55 was built in 1971, and then having recently undergone a refit in 2017. This boat combines traditional classic style with a fresh modern look.
Being a centre wheel-house yacht enables the boat to have spacious walk around decks, this allows easy access to the bow and stern when required. At the stern there is a boarding gangway and swim platform, which then leads up to the boats cockpit. Further deck space up on the flybridge to enjoy, with a dining area underneath the boats bimini top, which is ideal for alfresco lunch time. The boats centre console tender with outboard and lifting crane is also stored up on this deck.
All in all the exterior has a very fresh and well keeper feel to it. Her hull and under water gear have also been maintained to a very high standard.
Let's talk Interiors
Having undergone an interior refitted too, the boat presents very well. With an open plan galley and saloon area which has plenty of natural light through the large side windows. The appliances in the galley have been upgraded to a new modern standard and offers plenty of storage throughout.
Moving down to the accommodations of the boat. There are three cabins able to sleep up to eight people onboard. Each of the cabins has good storage and good head hight. Finished in Burmese teak throughout and giving off a fresh light and airy feel after the refit, this Grand Banks presents beautifully.

We very much like Grand Banks yachts. They are a real classic gentleman's yacht and timeless in their appearance. The refit on this yacht has been done correctly and she really has a fresh new look to her. This boat is ideal for people looking to spend a whole summer onboard exploring islands and enjoying life to its fullest.
