Commissioned by the lawyer Charles Plumtre Johnson, the 30 metre sailing yacht, MOONBEAM OF FIFE, was built in 1903 by William Fife as MOONBEAM III. She was the third in a series of four Moonbeams and hull n° 491 to leave the Fife yard and is considered to be one of the most acclaimed classic yachts around.
Not only a fast cruiser, she is proven on the regatta circuit, regularly taking part in the Mediterranean regatta scene, where she has taken part in virtually every major Mediterranean regatta on the circuit, coming in top 3 since 2001.
Having undergone numerous refits over the years, she allows guests to enjoy comfortable long distance cruising with the authentic feel and elegance of a classic sailing yacht. She can accommodate up to four guests in two pleasant cabins, a double and a twin.
Her streamlined shape, handy size and intelligent sail plan make for an extremely beautiful, comfortable and fast vessel, with all the expected amenities of a modern day yacht.
