DAWN TRADER is a fine example of this popular Philippe Briand design, which offers outstanding sailing performance and luxurious accommodations. DAWN TRADER features a two stateroom, two head configuration. It is hard to say which is the master stateroom as each one is spacious and comfortable with a queen sized berth, ample storage and each has a dedicated head. She is a performance cruiser with an emphasis on stylish, hassle-free and comfortable cruising. Sleek and visually appealing.
"DAWN TRADER" sports a huge twin wheel cockpit that is large enough to entertain more people than you probably care to. The deck is easy to move around on and with her in-mast furling, electric winches and all lines led to the cockpit the yacht is set up for a couple or family to handle with ease. Anyone shopping for a Beneteau or a Hanse should be sure to look at DAWN TRADER before making a decision.
The boat was recently hauled and the bottom paint is fresh. She is ready to enjoy for the upcoming season.

Designed by Philippe Briand and the Jeanneau Design department, the Sun Odyssey 45 is a cruising sailboat with nautical elegance. The sleek lines are inspired by the Sun Odyssey 49.
The 45 is built in a conventional, proven way. The hull is solid hand-laid fiberglass, and the deck has a core except where deck fittings are mounted. The outer surface is vinylester to resist osmotic blistering. The bulkheads are bonded all around to the deck and hull to form a strong, rigid structure.
Deck and cockpit; The low cabin top, which makes it easy to scamper anywhere on deck, also ensures excellent visibility for the helmsman. If you look around, you will find plenty of grab points; molded-in teak rails blend neatly with the cabin, while more-obvious stainless handholds insure crew safety forward. The standard windlass has a handy remote control, and the chain locker is quite large. The bow fitting is set up for two anchors.
The roomy cockpit has excellent bracing points, thanks to the well-designed, sturdy table that incorporates a chartplotter in just the right place for the helmsman to see it easily from either station. All the lines from the mast lead aft to stoppers and dual Harken 44 winches on either side of the companionway, while a pair of well-placed electric Harken 53s handle the genoa sheets.
The mid-boom traveler keeps the cockpit clear, and the stoppers and winches are in convenient positions. Primary winches mounted on coamings allow for easy jib trim. The mainsheet, halyards, and reefing lines are led through a bank of stoppers to smaller cabintop winches. Under sail, the boat rushed along with authority, tacking through less than 90 degrees, accelerating quickly, and feeling racy.
