Ever since being shipped to Sydney for her launch in 2005, 'Vanishing Point' has been well cared for by discerning and proud owners. She is a fine example of the highly regarded Farr designed Beneteau 57 model.
The layout of the Beneteau 57 is one of it's best features with a palatial aft doubt that rivals many 70 foot yachts. Moving forward around the large central engine bay is a double bunk cabin and head. The saloon has a dedicated chart table and lounge to starboard, the main dinette is to port and can seat 8 comfortably. The huge galley to port is separated from the saloon, U shaped, filled with storage, refrigeration, appliances and ventilation. The Two symmetrical guest cabins forward are feature full double beds each.
The aft deck is a great place for lounging, as is the central cockpit which safely seats an owner and 8 guests. All lines and rigging are run back here for easy short handed sailing.
'Vanishing Point' has been set up with fast cruising in mind. She sports the deep lead keel to give you genuine performance, the tall and classic 3 spreader rig with wire rigging, Leisure furl boom with upgraded Navtec hydraulic vang, electric headsail furler, carbon spinnaker pole and prod with up to date high spec running rigging, comprehensive Ullman sail wardrobe, Lemmar electric winches, bimini, dodger, updated Raymarine instrumentation with radar and pilot, Category 1 safety gear (less liferaft and personal EPIRBS) and more.
For comfort this majestic beauty features an Onan 9.5KVA genset, air conditioning, electric heads, microwave, dishwasher, and many other luxuries than made the Beneteau 57 such a global success.
Having given the owners many great memories including completion of the 2017 Sydney to Hobart Yacht race, 'Vanishing Point' is now prepared and ready to take new owners on extraordinary adventures in serious luxury and style.
