For the fishing guru, this 270 Mackinaw sports ample rod and tackle storage as well as a custom half tower with full engine controls and steering including a Raymarine A67 sounder/ chart plotter, bow thruster control and large comfortable bench seat with LED lights mounted under the tower box. As the pictures of tower show, there is unobstructed visibility for casting to tailing fish, searching for bait and birds and operating the boat perched in comfort. The 9'+ beam allows for great stability while in the tower, drifting, or at anchor. With a deep 5' long insulated fishbox centerline in the cockpit sole, keeping the days catch cold is not an issue. A transom livewell keeps the baits frisky and the transom door opens wide to bring in the big catch if needed. The mezzanine seating allows the crew to take a break to rig baits easily while keeping an eye on the spread. Gunwale mounted 16' outriggers can spread the baits for trolling for near and offshore gamefish.
