Wow, don't blind yourself looking down the shiny hull! This boat has been well cared for. Not owned by the punk next door that drives like a maniac! A calm, older gentleman with a spirt for adventure owns this boat. Stored inside for most of its life and shows it. A cozy cabin can sleep 2 or whatever else and a porta-potti saves trips to the shore. The owner says he did see 72 MPH on the speedometer on one nice day. Not many of these clean, low hour, fresh water performance boats around at a reasonable price and especially one that has not seen 1 second of abuse.
The Powerquest 280 Silencer, derived from the 320 Stalker and 300 Raptor designs, is a rock-solid and very fast single engine, step bottom design. The helms on the Silencer are user-friendly and built for performance. The passenger helm features twin, integrated footrests, a large glove box, and molded-in cup holder and safety grab bar. Like all Powerquests, the Silencer is hand-laid utilizing Ferro Ultrashield gel coat, AME 1000 resins, Knytex knitted fiberglass, Coremat, Baltek balsa coring throughout and wood and aluminum backing plates for mounting hardware and components. Every square-inch of fiberglass is painstakingly rolled out many times over.
Top speed of boat: 72 mph
