Upgrades & Recent Service:
The cockpit area of the 2700 Martinique is truly spacious.
The raised helm area includes a triple-wide helm seat, with adjoining aft-facing guet seat, which slides away when not in use. The helm itelf affords excellent visibility, with plenty of headroom beneath the tall bimini top.
Fully aft, a comfortably contoured L-shaped bench seat faces forward, with storage built into the seat base.
Access to the foredeck is through the windshield walk-through and access to the swim plaform is through a starboard side gate.
The high-arched bimini and fastback-style aft cover provide plenty of dockside weather protection and the aft cover includes screens. The cockpit is fully carpeted, as well.
Enter the cabin through a portside hatchway.
The galley is at the base of the stairs, portside, and is attractively trimmed with white cabinet laminates, attractive wood trim and fully equipped with deep circular stainless sink, stove, coffeemaker and microwave oven. Opposite the galley, to starboard, is a comfortable booth-style dinette, which will convert to sleep one or two, and contains extensive storage areas beneath.
Fully forward, the large v berth is thickly padded.
The mid-cabin is placed beneath the elevated helm and includes a large cockpit vent window with screens and a berth with plenty of room for two -- which also converts to a settee.
The head compartment, located starboard, opposite the galley, includes toilet, vanity and hide-away convenience shower.
