Hand laid fiberglass hull with molded Scheel Keel and externally bolted lead ballast. The balanced rudder is protected by an integral fiberglass skeg.

The interior is finished in Herreshoff style with white bulkheads and oiled teak trim providing a light and open interior while the cabin sole, locker doors and table are varnished with a satin finish.
Descending the companionway to starboard is a Nav station and quarter berth. The galley is to port. The main salon consists of an L shaped settee which pulls out to convert to a double berth. There is a fold down varnished teak table with an extension leaf and shelves behind the table on the bulkhead. Forward of the main salon to port is the head with a large hanging locker opposite. The forward cabin has a v-berth with removable filler to create double berth. Storage is in lockers throughout the boat.
Opening stainless steel portlights in cabin sides provide excellent light and ventilation with removable screens (including one full spare set). Portlights have laminated safety glass and replaced gaskets.
Overhead hatches with translucent white frosted lenses provide additional light and airflow.
