The classic Freedom 28 Cat Ketch offers a great deal of space and comfort in her 28' design. A large, deep cockpit and wide side decks make her a safe vessel to enjoy at sea and at rest. Raven's interior accommodations ensure that your crew will always be happy aboard this vessel.
A single handler’s delight and well suited to Narragansett Bay and Rhode Island Sound wind and waves.
This from a surveyor:
"The owners of RAVEN spent countless hours in the complete refit and restoration of their Freedom 28. A well-constructed enclosure was provided for the vessel during the refit/restoration project. The vessel was carefully disassembled, deficiencies identified and corrected in many instances to be better than original. Their refit/restoration process (over more than a two-year process) included hull, decks, mast-sections, interior restoration, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. Where replacements were necessary in many instances, they chose the best materials currently available to prepare the vessel for safety and comfort. Where expertise was important; they sought out the experts and enlisted their assistance when it was necessary. Their workmanship and details were compounded with their desire to adhere to the constantly updated standards and guidelines of the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) and all USCG requirements."
