This classic boat has been part of our family since 1982 and has been continually updated. She is now unexpectantly up for sale due to an increase in family size necessitating a slightly larger vessel.
The Nicholson MkX1 range finished production in 1980 and were the last to be built in the series and featured all the attributes and modifications developed by their predecessors since 1963.
This one was extensively refitted in 2015 with her underwater skin fittings renewed together with a new stripper rope cutter. The steering was thoroughly checked with new bushes with new rudder pintals etc. The engine was fully checked with new mounts and the gas hoses were replaced.
The old antifoul was stripped off and re primed before re antifouling.
The onboard electrics were checked and four new switch panels were installed plus a third battery and a smart charger for shore power use.
The gas cooker was replaced onto different gimbals and a new 12/240 refrigerator plus inverter was also installed.
She has a new fully Battened Mainsail and retainer bag with Lazyjacks and a new Spray hood. All the stowage lockers have been painted throughout.
A new teak cockpit table was also installed.
She is Part 1 Registered and has spent most of her cruising life in the Channel Islands and Adjacent Coasts of France.
She is now in a sail away condition to another custodian who will cherish her as she rightly deserves.
