Summit is a Pearson 35 and as the photos show, she is a lovely classic design. She also sails well, is stable to windward as she is a keel centerboard design. With a draft of 3’ 9” – board up – and 7’ 6” with centerboard down her ability to access sailing areas many sailboats may not venture.
Bill Shaw designed many lovely and popular designs for the Pearson Company. Summit is one of 500 Pearson 35’s.This design stayed in series production for 14 years. Known for solid and reliable production, this Pearson 35, Summit, is a pleasure to view from the water or on board. Yes excellent care is obvious as she feels like a recently produced.
