The Myra 21 accommodation offers two berths with sitting headroom. The cabin consists of a settee V berth offering two single berths with a marine toilet beneath the starboard berth with the possibility to create an infill which would then make a double berth. To either side aft are storage cupboards with a small sink (manually pumped cold water supply) to port and single burner gas cooker to starboard. The cabin has been lined with a light green carpet to a high standard, the woodwork refinished and the cushions and upholstery replaced with blue vinyl creating a cosy cabin for overnighting.
Located in insulated cockpit engine box, BMC 4-cylinder 1.8 litre 38hp inboard diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Morse type single lever controls with electric start. The engine was overhauled in 2012 including a new heat exchanger, various gaskets and pipework, exhaust elbow and reconditioned injectors. She has been known to us for a significant number of years and all owners have found her to be very economical and reliable during their use.

Myra 21 built in 1970 by Myra Plast. Blue painted GRP displacement hull with off white superstructure and decks with grey Treadmaster non-slip surfaces. Long keel with steel bilge plates.
During recent years she has been well cared for, works include removing all old antifoul then priming and antifouling, hull and superstructure repainted and keel band re-bedded. Many items have also been replaced including an improved steel rudder, tinted windows, outboard bracket, navigation lights, cockpit canopy and electric bilge pump. The cabin has been refitted with new linings, all woodwork revarnished and new cushions and upholstery installed. A recent survey has revealed that an epoxy coating applied beneath the waterline has failed and is coming away from the gel coat so should be removed, investigated and re-applied if necessary. This has allowed moisture readings to elevate so may involve an osmosis treatment in the future if significant blisters are found in the gelcoat.
